The new Generation HCU

The HCTronic Heater-Cooler system concerns a new generation HCU for use during cardiac procedures in conjunction with a Heart-Lung Machine. The system uses proprietary heat pump technology to control the temperature and has a fully automated disinfection cycle. Extensive testing has shown that our process effectively reduces bacterial load of both fast-growing waterborne bacteria and Mycobacterium chimaera bacteria.

The Wall Console

The Wall Console is designed to be integrated in the wall of the operating theater. The flush incorporation into the wall of the operating theater facilitates a very efficient use of this crowded and valuable space.

The system consists of a dual circuit interface which operate completely independently and can be controlled by the well-arranged touch screens on the console. The heat pump system is situated outside the operating room.
