The new Generation HCU

The HCTronic Heater-Cooler system concerns a new generation HCU for use during cardiac procedures in conjunction with a Heart-Lung Machine. The system uses proprietary heat pump technology to control the temperature and has a fully automated disinfection cycle. Extensive testing has shown that our process effectively reduces bacterial load of both fast-growing waterborne bacteria and Mycobacterium chimaera bacteria.

The Mobile Console

The Mobile Console is designed to be placed alongside your Heart-Lung Machine (HLM) for easy access. The mobile console is considered easier to implement in some existing operating room environments and is connected to the two technical units with two dedicated 'wall boxes'.

The system consists of a dual circuit interface which operate completely independently and can be controlled by the well-arranged touch screens on the console. The heat pump system is situated outside the operating room.
